NATIONAL TREE PLANTING DAY Today our Parish Priests, Sisters, Workers and also the group of Junior Catechists of Ng'arua Deanery have joint the National celebration planting trees at the Parish Farm. Chief Njuguna and Chief Ndungu honored this occasion. The activity was accompanied by a prayer of blessing as well as a special prayer for the victim of recent floods. Moreover, in the last two weeks of rainy season, the Parish has added up to 2,000 trees at the farm, at the school, and in the agroforestry lands. Some of these trees were cultivated in our nursery. WORKERS CELEBRATION with Retirement Party for Joseph and Francis. On the vigil of Labour Day (1st May), all employees of our Parish gathered for the Holy Mass of St. Joseph the Worker. Then a special party was dedicated to the retirement of two great veterans, Mr. Joseph Kariuki (more than 20 years as a Tractorist and Farmer) and Mr. Francis Wambugu (16 years as a Foreman in the Parish Farm).
